KSP increases school visits due to recent threats

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are stepping up patrols in schools after recent acts of violence and threats.

KSP policy requires Troopers to perform yearly school visits, but they are increasing the frequency to several visits per day because of recent events.

KSP asks that parents not panic if they see patrol vehicle at their child’s school frequently; it’s all in an attempt to keep students safe.
