KSP: Harrodsburg Man Killed In Single Vehicle Accident

State Police said a Mercer County died Thursday from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle accident.

Investigators said William C. Edwards, 55, of Harrodsburg, was killed after the car he was driving went off the side of KY 33 north of Danville and hit a culvert.

State Police said the car overturned and that Edwards was ejected.

Investigators said Edwards was rushed to Ephraim McDowell hospital in Danville where he was pronounced dead.

State Police said it didn’t appear that Edwards was wearing a seat belt and that alcohol may have been a factor in the deadly accident.

The crash remained under investigation, according to State Police.
