KSP: Driver arrested after pursuit crosses from IN to KY

HENDERSON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man has been arrested by Kentucky State Troopers after a pursuit in Indiana crossed into Kentucky.

Troopers say they were contacted by law enforcement in Warrick County just after midnight on Tuesday, about a high-speed pursuit headed towards Kentucky.  Police say the pursuit crossed the I-69 Twin Bridges in Henderson to US 41A, and then the driver they took KY 2253 to Whitelick Road before wrecking at the intersection of Whitelick Road and Tapp Duncan Road in the Corydon community.

At that point, troopers say the driver, 38-year-old Michael B. Meredith, of Corydon, ran from the vehicle, and remained loose for several hours before turning himself in to KSP around 7:30 a.m.

Meredith was taken to Methodist Hospital to be checked out before being taken to jail.  A mugshot was not available at the time of press.
