KSP: Dispute between neighbors ends in death of Bell City man

BELL CITY, Ky. (WTVQ) -A Bell City man has died after a dispute between neighbors turned physical on Thursday.

Kentucky State Police say they were called to a home on Bell City Road in Graves County around 5:00 p.m. after receiving a call of a man needing medical attention.

When they arrived, troopers say they found 55-year-old Harold Fry unresponsive.  Fry was airlifted to Skyline Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee for treatment.

Investigators say they discovered Fry had been in an argument with neighbors over an ongoing burglary complaint on Fry’s property.  During the argument, police say Fry was hit in the head.

At 3:00 a.m. on Friday, Kentucky State Police say Fry was pronounced dead at the hospital as a result of the injuries he received in the assault.

Kentucky State Police are calling the death a homicide.

No word on charges, or who actually struck Fry.
