KSP: Call from New Jersey leads to stolen property in Knox County

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say a phone call from a business in New Jersey led investigators to stolen property in Knox County.

State Police say investigators received a call from Pantano Power Equipment Company in New Jersey about multiple "suspicious purchases" being made from a residence in Knox County, Kentucky.

Investigators say they executed a search warrant at the home of Patrick Wilson on Buckeye Branch Road in Flat Lick.  State Police say several thousand dollars’ worth of stolen property was recovered at the residence along with additional items at a pawn shop in Barbourville.

State Police say so far, no arrests have been made.  Investigators say the case will be taken to a Knox County Grand Jury.
