KSP: Body found on Perry Co. trail, foul play suspected
VIPER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say foul play is suspected in the death of a woman, whose body was found on a trail Thursday night.
State Police say an ATV rider was on the trail near Louis Cemetery Road Thursday when he came across the woman’s body.
Police say the woman had a gunshot wound to her body.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim is described as a white female, approximately 5’3″ tall, weighing around 130 pounds. She is believed to be between 25-32-years-old.
She was wearing a gray jacket and gray leggings with a multi-colored shirt and red boots.
An autopsy is expected to be performed at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort Friday.
