KSP arrests man in Carlisle County for drugs, traffic offenses

KIRBYTON, Ky. (WTVQ) –  Kentucky State Police have arrested an Illinois man for various drug charges after a traffic stop in Carlisle County.

According to KSP on August 8th, a trooper did a traffic stop to a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado for speeding on KY 121 outside of the Kirbyton community.

KSP says during the traffic stop, the trooper learned that 36-year-old Bobby G. Styers of Cunningham, Kentucky had an arrest warrant out of Illinois.

The trooper searched the car and found meth and drug paraphernalia.

Styers was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of a substance, drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and other traffic offenses.

Styers is being held at the McCracken County Regional Jail..
