KSP: Apparent homicide near Junction City

JUNCTION CITY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police are investigating an apparent homicide after a woman was found dead in her home near Junction City in Boyle County.

Investigators say 52-year old Rhonda Oakley, of Danville, was found dead on her basement floor by her stepson when he came home from school Thursday afternoon.

The cause of death wasn’t released.

State Police say Oakley’s car is missing from the home along Old US 127 (Old Hustonville Road). It’s a 2014 White Honda Civic passenger car with Kentucky license plate 2113BT. Investigators are asking for the public’s help to find the vehicle.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified at this point, according to KSP.
