Knox County woman arrested for child abuse

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Department says they have arrested Natasha Henderson on child abuse charges, after they say she left her two children home alone.

They say they were called to her home around 3 o’clock Thursday morning by her neighbors, who say she drove off in her car, leaving her 8-year-old alone in the yard.

Her neighbors also say they found her 3-year-old alone inside the house.

While police were there, they say Henderson returned, and started doing a burnout in her car in front of her home.

Social services removed the two children and Henderson was taken to the Knox County Detention Center.
