Kitten rescued from storm drain in London

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The London Police Department says a kitten trapped 10 feet deep in a storm drain near McDonald’s on North Main Street has been rescued.

Officers say the kitten was found on July 31st.  Officers removed the manhole cover and used an attic ladder to reach the cat.  They say the kitten appeared to be in good health, despite being in the confined space.

The cat was taken in by the 911 caller who reported the trapped kitten.
