KHSAA Boys’ Sweet 16 – Day 2 Recap

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It started with Doss downing Lawrence County 66-57 and ended with South Oldham’s first win at the Sweet 16 over Owensboro Catholic 58-34.

South Laurel took care of business and sent Christian County home 53-50 to close out the early session.

Taylor County put Mason County on the defensive from the tip in the first game of the night session.  The Royals played without star Pig Williams, and it showed.  Richard Gatewood Jr.’s Cardinals advanced 94-65 over Mason County.

Noon – Murray vs. NCC

1:30 – Dunbar vs. Bowling Green

6:30 – Doss vs. Taylor County

8:00 – South Laurel vs. South Oldham
