Kentucky veterans visit memorials during honor flight
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTVQ)- Some Kentucky heroes were in D.C. Saturday as part of an honor flight.
Honor Flight Kentucky flew them on a one-day all-expenses-paid trip to visit their memorials.
They even took part in the laying of the wreath ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
You can thank them Saturday night by greeting them during their return home.
Honor Flight Kentucky asks you arrive by 8 p.m. to take part in their welcome home celebration at Blue Grass Airport.
