Kentucky State Police searching for escaped inmate

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say they are searching for a Rockcastle County jail inmate who escaped custody.

Police say 30-year-old Joseph Morris, of Livingston, escaped while on work release around 1:17 p.m. Friday.

They say Morris ran off while mowing grass on Daughtery Ridge Road.

Morris was last seen wearing brown khaki pants with an orange shirt. He is described as being male white with brown hair, 5’6″ tall and weighing approximately 105 pounds.
