Kentucky native claims he left manure package for Mnuchin

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The man who claims to have sent a gift-wrapped package of horse manure to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has ties to Kentucky.

Robbie Strong, who is a psychologist for the Los Angeles County Public Health Department, tells media outlets he left the poop-filled parcel addressed to Mnuchin and President Trump in the driveway outside Mnuchin’s home in Bel Air.

The sender was listed as “The American People.”

On his Facebook page, Strong says he is from Paducah, Kentucky but lives in Los Angeles.

He says he did it to protest the federal tax overhaul signed into law last week by Trump.

The U.S. Secret Service and the Los Angeles Police Department investigated the incident and interviewed the person responsible but would not confirm if it was Strong.

No charges have been filed against the person responsible.

The LAPD tells Reuters that it was possible whoever left the package did not break any criminal laws since the box did not present any danger.
