Kentucky Clobbers Kansas 72-40
From the start in Indianapolis, the top-ranked Kentucky Wildcats put on a clinic Tuesday night, defeating No. 5 Kansas 72-40 in the night cap of the Champions Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Dakari Johnson led the Cats in scoring with 11 points. Sophomore guard Andrew Harrison added in 10 points, 4 assists.
12 Cats scored in all as UK shot 43 percent from the field. Kentucky also blocked 11 Jayhawk shots. Kansas shot roughly 20 percent from the field.
Next up for the Cats, Boston University on Friday at 7 o’clock at Rupp Arena. FSN will have the live broadcast.
