K-9 finds domestic violence suspect hiding in attic

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man accused of breaking a woman’s nose in a domestic violence case was found hiding in the attic by the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office’s K-9, according to deputies.

Investigators say 28-year old Nathan Davidson, of London, fought with deputies during his arrest, which happened just before noon on Thursday on Barbourville Road, approximately nine miles south of London.

Deputies say as they were taking Davidson to the police cruiser, he began cursing and tried to pull away.  They say once inside the car, he tried to kick the windows out.

The woman he’s accused of injuring was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital London, according to deputies.

Davidson was charged with assault – second-degree – domestic violence; fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot; disorderly conduct – second-degree; resisting arrest, according to investigators.
