UPDATE: 14-Year-Old Dies After Lexington Shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A release from the Fayette County Coroner says a 14-year-old, shot multiple times at a Lexington home in the 100-block of Henton Road just before 11:00 p.m. Thursday, has died.

An autopsy is scheduled for Angel Juarez later today.

Police found Juarez with several gunshot wounds to the stomach after being called to the home.

Officers say witnesses reported a car speeding away from the scene just after the shooting.

Lexington Police are actively investigating the incident.

A juvenile was shot multiple times at a Lexington home on Thanksgiving, according to police.

They say they were called to the 100-block of Henton Road just before 11 p.m. Thursday to a report of shots fired.

They say they found the juvenile suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the stomach.

He was rushed to the University of Kentucky hospital where, at last report, he was in critical condition.

Police are not sure if the shooting happened inside or outside the home.

Police say witnesses tell them they saw a car speeding away from the scene just after the shooting.

Shortly after the shooting police say they located the brother of the victim near the scene.

They say they are talking to him.

Police say they don’t have any suspects at this time.
