Juvenile arrested in school threat incident
VANCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A juvenile was arrested Monday in connection to a threat against Lewis County High School, according to a report in the Lewis County Herald.
The newspaper quotes the sheriff saying the juvenile created a fictitious Snapchat account and posted the threat Sunday night under the name of a student at Lewis County High School. A screen capture of the threat was circulated on various social media platforms Sunday night, according to the report.
Lewis County students were already scheduled off Monday. Classes will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, according to the report.
Because of the juvenile’s age, no name was released.
The sheriff told the paper in the investigation is ongoing.
