Jury convicts Kenton Co. man of attempted rape a child

COVINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It took a Kenton County jury less than a half hour to find a Covington man guilty of attempted rape of a girl.

Prosecutors say Arrin Bush sexually assaulted the 12-year-old while she was babysitting his son at a home on February 19, 2018.

The jury recommended a 15-year sentence after finding Bush guilty of sexual abuse and attempted rape.

Bush will be officially sentenced next month.
