Junior Leagues hosts 17th Annual Holly Day Market
Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) — For those looking to get a head start on their Christmas shopping, the Junior League of Lexington hosted their 17th annual Holly Day Market at the Central Bank Center this weekend.
The Holly Day Market is just one fundraiser the Junior League puts on to support the many community agencies they work with.
More than 80 vendors participated this year, with something for everyone, including dog treats and bandanas, clothing, jewelry, toys, children’s gifts, holiday décor and a silent auction.
We spoke with organizers who say they love how much this event gives back to the community.
“You know we all work together for a common goal,” said 2024 Holly Day Market Chair, Beth Shockley. “So we all feel really proud and happy that we get to put this on and give back to the community in such a way.”
“The best part is giving back to Lexington and giving back to the community, because we just love getting to give back in way we possibly can,” said Ada & Lo Manager Julie Head. “Merry Christmas!”
Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance.
Children were able to take pictures, eat cookies and drink cocoa.
And The Lexington Theater Company came and sang some Christmas songs.
