Johnson County teen to sing National Anthem at NBA Finals

CLEVELAND, Oh. (WTVQ) – A Johnson County teenager, who has cerebral palsy and was born blind, will sing the National Anthem on Tuesday night before game 6 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland, which you will see on ABC 36.
18-year old Marlana Vanhoose, from Denver, Kentucky, has performed before big audiences across the state and country, including some UK and professional sporting events.

According to her Website (www.littlemarlana.com), she wasn’t expected to live for more than a year after birth.  Now, 18-years later, she continues to wow audiences all over the nation with her powerful voice and inspiring rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

Coverage of the game begins at 9:00 p.m. on ABC 36.
