Jessamine County man dies after hitting tree

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A single vehicle accident on Ky 1981 claimed the life of a 40 year old man.

The accident happened just after 3 o’ clock Saturday afternoon when the driver lost control of his car, leaving the roadway and striking a tree.

He was transported to UK Hospital by Jessamine County EMS where he was pronounced dead.

His name is not being released until the family is notified.
