Interstate reopens after wreck

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A stretch of interstate that was closed Wednesday following a semi-truck accident has reopened. The northbound lane of I75 near the Scott-Fayette County line was closed for more than six hours while crews worked to clean debris from the wreck.
Georgetown police say a UPS driver was heading northbound on I75 around 9:30 p.m. when the driver says he got distracted, hit a guardrail, overcorrected and flipped. The semi-truck landed across the road, spilling medical supplies and bottles of liquor on the interstate.
No one was injured in the accident. The driver was not charged.
