Inmate who didn’t return from work release turns self in

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An inmate who who failed to return from court-ordered work release on Monday is now back in custody.

A release from the Department of Public Safety says Tiffany L. Davis turned herself in to the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government Division of Community Corrections on Wednesday at about 12:45 a.m.

She is now being held on her original charge of failure to appear, as well as an additional escape charge.

Davis was scheduled to be released on Thursday.
