Inmate returned to jail

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette Co. Sheriff says an inmate who disappeared in December has been returned to custody of the Lexington-Fayette Urban Co. Government Division of Community Corrections.

According to the Sheriff, Johnathan Wayne Howard didn’t return from a funeral pass on December 3rd.  The Sheriff says he was returned to custody on Tuesday after being apprehended.

Howard is being held on his original charges of failure to appear on theft by unlawful taking, as well as new charges of receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, and escape.
