Inmate who escaped in KY arrested in TN

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman who escaped custody in Kentucky was found and arrested in Tennessee, according to police.

The Williamsburg Police Department says Emily Baldwin was being transferred from Georgia to Missouri when she managed to free herself from her ankle and belly shackles and took off near the I-75 visitor’s center, just north of Jellico, Tennessee Monday night.

Police say Baldwin was taken into custody in Knoxville early Tuesday morning.
