Indictment on rape, unlawful imprisonment, and assault charges in Franklin Co.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Franklin Co. Grand Jury indicted a man on Tuesday after he reportedly water boarded, punched, and raped his girlfriend, according to The State Journal.

The newspaper says that 30-year-old Dominick Palmer assaulted his girlfriend because she refused to give him the password to her cell phone.  Police say they saw the reported assault when they entered Palmer’s apartment on Juniper Hill.

Palmer was indicted on charges of rape, unlawful imprisonment, and assault.  He is being held at the Franklin Co. Regional Jail on a $50,000 dollar bond.
