Indians’ ‘D’ coming up huge

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Madison Central’s defense did it again Friday night, locking up Lexington Catholic in the 27-14 win over the Knights.

The Indians are now 4-1 on the season, 3 points away from perfection and sit ranked second in points allowed in Class 6A.  Only Manual is better in that department and the Crimsons have played one fewer game on the season.

So, just how big has the ‘D’ been for head coach Mark Scenters and the boys and how much will it continue to be relied upon moving forward with Woodford County in town Friday night?

Hear from Scenters in the video.
