In wake of terroristic threats, EKU promotes “EKU Strong”

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – As law enforcement officials continue to investigate threatening graffiti found in a bathroom on the EKU campus, faculty and administration are urging everyone associated with the university to enroll in the RAVE emergency messaging system that sends security and emergency alert texts to participants.

Students will be able to enroll in RAVE Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon on campus and will receive a free "EKU Strong" t-shirt.  On Tuesday, signups will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Stratton Cafeteria, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Powell Student Center and the Business and Technology Center (BTC) lobby, and from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Fitness and Wellness Center as well as BTC.  On Wednesday, students can sign up from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Powell and BTC, and from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stratton.  Students who are already enrolled in RAVE will still be eligible for a free t-shirt.
