“In God We Trust” decal added to cruisers

LAUREL CO. Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel County sheriff has added a little something extra to the department’s patrol cars.
Sheriff John Root says he bought decals that say “In God We Trust” with $150 of his own money to place on the department’s 27 marked cruisers.
He says the move is a response to recent violence against law enforcement officers around the nation.
Root said the decal is “a symbol of moral values in Kentucky and Laurel County.”
