Ichthus Coping With The Heat
The annual Christian music festival in Wilmore is an annual tradition that stretches back 40 years. In the past, fans have had to cope with rain, storms, and mud. But this time, sunny weather appears on the horizon. If anything, the only weather concern is the heat.
"We have some hydration stations. We have some cooling stations. And we have intentionally priced water really cheap," says Mark Vermilion, the Ichthus C.E.O. "Just something as simple as bottled water. We just keep pushing bottled water, we sell it at almost our cost, we just want people to be able to stay safe while they’re out here."
Ichthus runs through Saturday. Six stages will allow 120 acts to perform.
