Ice Delays Firefighters From Battling House Fire

Firefighters said an icy driveway delayed them from fighting a house fire Friday afternoon on College Hill Road in Waco.

Firefighters said they had to treat the driveway before they could get up the hill to fight the fire.

They said the home was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived. 

The home was destroyed.

The Madison County Fire Chief said no one lived in the home, but that the homeowner had been there a couple of hours before the fire began.
