Beginning on Monday, October 11, the right lane of I-64 East will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crews anticipate completing the inspection of the eastbound bridge by Friday, October 15. Once the eastbound inspection is complete, crews will mobilize to the westbound bridge.

Beginning on Monday, October 18, the right lane of I-64 West will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews anticipate completing the inspection of the westbound bridge by Friday, October 22.

The twin bridges over the Kentucky River were built in 1963. An arms-length inspection of the critical bridge members is required every two years. The 2019 inspection was completed concurrently with the bridge painting project.
