HWY 295 closed because of mudslide in Lyon County

LYON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- In Lyon County a highway that closed because of a landslide won’t be open again until the ground dries out.

Aerial shots show mud and trees covering the road, which makes it impossible to drive over.

This all happened on Highway 295, Lake Barkley Drive.

The judge executive says crews found this obstruction on Friday and they’re worried more land could fall.

Crews won’t be able to clean it up until there has been dry weather for about a week.
