Husband and Wife Arrested For Theft
Lexington police arrested a husband and wife and charged them with theft involving the mail.
Court documents said Catherine Hiles, 40, took items stolen from three mailboxes to a retail store and traded them for gift cards.
She then took those gift cards and sold them to pawn shops, according to documents.
Police said her husband, Gary Hiles, 36, broke into a home and stole items.
He is charged with burglary and theft of mail matter.
