Hundreds turn out for visitation of couple killed in Brussels

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The parking lot at Southland Christian Church was nearly full for hours Thursday as hundreds poured into the church to pour out their support for Stephanie and Justin Shultz’s families.

Stephanie Shultz, a Lexington native, and husband Justin were working in Brussels. They were dropping Stephanie’s mother off at the airport when the bombs went off. It would take days before the couple’s bodies were identified by family.

Thursday and Friday, loved ones are getting final chances to say ‘goodbye’ to them during visitation and funeral services.

Family members say memorial contributions can be made to a few different places. They say you can donate to the Nashville Zoo, Vanderbilt University and to a memorial scholarship fund set up at Gatlinburg Pittman High School.
