Hundreds Camp Out Waiting For iPhone Six
The first man in line, Philip Gilmore, said he had been there since 5 p.m. Thursday.
"It’s an adrenaline pump," said Gilmore. "So exciting, this atmosphere. Where I live I don’t have this."
He said he drove a few hours to come but that to be first in line was awesome.
The first person who walked out of the store with an iPhone six was Derrick Sumerel. He said the phone was for his wife and that the wait was worth it.
Both the iPhone six and iPhone six plus were released Friday.
Staff said nationally 4 million were pre-ordered last Friday. 1,200 were pre-ordered from the Lexington Apple Store.
