Huckabee, thousands more, celebrate Kim Davis’ release
GRAYSON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Thousand gathered in Grayson to celebrate Rowan Co. Clerk Kim Davis’ release from jail. Music, demonstrations, and speeches were given at the Carter Co. Detention Center, including a speech from presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.
Huckabee said he was proud of Davis, and that he admired her courage. He even said he would spend time behind bars for her. He concluded his words asking the crowd “Who’s next? Are you ready to stand up for your faith?”
Davis has been warned not to interfere with the issuance of marriage licenses upon her return to work.
