Honor Flight Kentucky Welcome Home Celebration

Honor Flight Kentucky is one of 130 plus non-profit charitable chapters located in 45 states that comprise the Honor Flight Network.  Their mission is to fly World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans to Washington DC for a one day all-expenses-paid visit to their memorials that are dedicated to their service and sacrifices.

More than 70 veterans (World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War) will make the trip to D.C. in the year’s first flight, with the public invited to attend a “Welcome Home” celebration upon return.

The celebration will happen at 9:00 p.m. at the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington.
