Homes and cars shot up over three block stretch

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A vigil for shooting victim Alisa “Lucy” Reed began with hugs, pictures, and balloons. She’s the 17-year-old shot to death on Palumbo Drive in January.

That vigil took a surprise turn when ABC 36 crews heard gunshots.

According to Lexington Police, evidence of gunshots was found on Race Street between Second and Third, but also right across the street from Charles Young Park. Evidence could be found over a three block stretch.

Bullets and shell casings weren’t just found in houses and city streets, but also in cars.

Lexington Police believe whoever fired the shots, was on the move.

Police say there was a small injury after a piece of drywall hit a woman when it was sprung from a bullet.

Police have three descriptions. All three are teenage boys.
