Hindman VFD is asking donations for a new tanker

HINDMAN, Ky. (WTVQ) – An eastern Kentucky volunteer fire department is asking for help after a tanker was destroyed in a crash.

The Hindman Volunteer Fire Department says it lost a tanker during a crash while on the scene of a structure fire back in April.

The department is now asking for the public’s help to buy a new one. Saying it’s an essential piece of equipment to serving the community.
