Herald-Leader prints last issue in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Herald-Leader has printed its last issue in Lexington.
Back in June, the paper said it was transferring its printing operation to Louisville in August and will sell its building on Main Street and Midland Avenue.
The newspaper says 25 full-time jobs and four part-time ones will be affected.
It will look for office space in downtown Lexington.
Print operations will be handled by Gannett Publishing Services in Louisville, which also prints the Courier-Journal and other newspapers.
