Help Name The Newport Aquarium’s Newest Addition
There’s a new resident at Kentucky’s Newport Aquarium.
A female shark ray arrived there Wednesday.
Crews had the big job of moving the 250-pound animal into its new habitat.
The aquarium says the shark ray was born in the waters off Taiwan and measures more than 7 feet long.
She’s getting to know her new family in the shark tank swimming with Sweet Pea, Scooter, Sunshine and Spike.
But the aquarium says the new arrival doesn’t have a name yet.
It’s asking for your help through a facebook poll.
