Heavy police presence at Madison Central High School after threat
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Madison County Schools says there will be heavy police presence at Madison Central High School after a threat was made on social media.
That threat was made Sunday night, according to the school district.
In a Facebook post, Madison County Schools says: “While we believe this threat is just an attempt to disrupt the educational process, we want you to know that we are working with Richmond Police Department and Kentucky State Police to investigate the threat and find the person who put this on social media.”
The district goes on to say both agencies “will provide a heavy presence on our campus until the situation is resolved.”
