HealthFirst Bluegrass, Library extend weekly COVID-19 vaccination clinics

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – HealthFirst Bluegrass and the Lexington Public Library announced today they will be extending their weekly COVID-19 vaccination pop-up clinics.

The Tates Creek Branch, located at 3628 Walden Drive, will now offer vaccinations every Wednesday until August 25 while the Village Branch located at 2185 Versailles Road will have vaccinations available every Monday until August 30.

Both branches will expand their hours from 11am to 4pm. Residents can make a reservation or walk-in.

HealthFirst Bluegrass will be administering the COVID-19 vaccine and will be available to those 18 years of age and older. There is no cost to individuals and open to all in the community.

“We still need to get more people vaccinated and we are proud to continue our partnership with HealthFirst Bluegrass to ensure this happens,” said Heather Dieffenbach, executive director of the Lexington Public Library. “The Lexington Public Library is committed to health equity and providing equitable access to the COVID-19 vaccine and supporting our communities as we recover.”
