Health Department: Flu numbers in Lexington on the rise
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The flu continues to spread in Lexington.
Health officials say there are now 513 confirmed cases.
That’s an increase of 53 from last week.
There have been four flu related deaths, according to officials.
They say one of the victims was a baby.
Health officials say 77% of the confirmed cases did not get a seasonal flu shot, which is the best way to protect yourself against the flu.
