‘Harvesting Hope’ In Danville Closes Its Doors For Good
There’s now a ‘for rent’ sign outside of a Boyle County food pantry that fed hundreds of needy families.
‘Harvesting Hope’ closed its doors for good Friday.
The non-profit ran out of money last fall after losing the support of its two biggest financial backers.
More than 2,000 people a month turned to ‘Harvesting Hope’ for help.
Now churches and the Salvation Army are bracing for a jump in food demand to make up for the loss.
