Habitat for Humanity receives donation for home repair program

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington’s Habitat for Humanity just received a boost from the Realtor-Community Housing Foundation.

The organization donated $46,800 for Habitat’s Home Repair Program.

Habitat for Humanity says it will be used for projects that are currently not under contract because there are no funds for the program.

Habitat for Humanity says it aligns with the Realtor-Community Housing Foundation’s goal to help homeowners in need stay in their homes.

Habitat for Humanity and REACH has already received $50,000 this year from the Realtor-Community Housing Foundation, which is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization created in 1992 by the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors® (LBAR).
