Habitat for Humanity and Chick-Fil-A have Partnered to go Green
The Chick-fil-A® Restaurant at Turfland will unveil a new recycling shelter on Friday, August 10th at 8am. The shelter was built by volunteers from Lexington Habitat for Humanity ReStore in an effort to house used pickle buckets and Waffle Potato Fry boxes. These repurposed items will be available for purchase at the Lexington Habitat for Humanity ReStore on Southland Drive or Winchester Road. Chick-fil-A Turfland and Lexington Habitat for Humanity ReStore have teamed up to reduce the waste in our community, headed toward landfills.
“We are proud to support Lexington Habitat for Humanity ReStore by teaming up with them on this project to repurpose waste and generating funds to help build new homes in our community,” said Jeff Stryker, franchise Operator of Chick-fil-A at Turfland. “We hope the community will join us in supporting such a wonderful cause.”
