Guilty plea from one of twins accused of sexual abuse
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – As part of a plea deal, 77-year-old former Boy Scout leader Jack Cassidy pleaded guilty to nine sex abuse-related charges in court Wednesday.
The charges relate to incidents dating back to 1975.
His twin brother Jerry, also accused on molestation charges, was not in court today but has a status hearing on October 16.
Sentencing for Jack Cassidy is scheduled for Oct. 16. He could face over 20 years in prison.
